SWARM
So on Sat. i went to SWARM! SWARM is a program at Emporia that helps freshman get a head start at school. So we got a lot of infromation, enrolled in classes, pre-ordered our books, got our student ids and got a checking account at the local bank there. So technically i'm now a student of Emporia State University!!! YA! i'm soooo excited, everyone is sooo nice there and i love the campous i still would love to just wonder around and explore...and check out the...landscape...yeaaahhh....(hotties) ANYWHO! by the way there were quite a few of 'em out there.
For a grad/birfday pres i was thinking of begging my folks for an IPod so that i don't have to take my boombox or any of my cds with me. I think that would save space and would prevent me losing some of my fav cds.
Got my Senior pics taken. I haven't gotten to see what they look like yet though so i'm still waiting for the pics. But some of them i took with my cat, some with my guitar and some just by my lonesome. I hope they turn out well i think they will. I'm barefoot in all of them so and i'm just wearing my green turtle neck so hopefully it will portray the real me. Not someone just dressing up and "smiling" (really they're grimacing). So ya...when those are done i'm hoping to have some to hand out. But thats still in the works.
on other news.
Doing crazzy clean up for Mother's Day and my Mum's birfday since they are so close together. See all my mummmy wanted for both those days is a spectacularly clean house for Bob's grad recpection. So i'm working on that.
hmm...i'm trying to remember if i have home work or not and truthfully i can't really remember so i don't really care.
oh! I'm going to have a poem of mine published in a ameatur poets contest on poetry.com. if i win third place i'll recieve a bronze medal, if i win 2nd i'll win a silver medal and if i win 1st i'll get 1,000 dollars!!!! But that fact that i'm getting published anyways since i made the semifinals. So that will be my third piece being published. I'm really happy, especially since i only submitted cause i kind felt like 1,000 dollars would be really nice for school. But if i win anything i'll let ya'll know. Ok so you are probably wondering what poem it is. Lol! so here it is.

Why did we draw your blood at Calvary?
Why do you still love me sweet Unicorn when I killed you?
Unicorn oh Unicorn my hands are covered in your blood.
Why do you smile and wipe them clean?
Oh Unicorn, strike me for I have stricken you!
Beat me oh Unicorn for I do not deserve your love!
Take your glorious horn and stab me though,
For death is all I deserve.
Why did we slay you Unicorn?
Why did we draw your blood at Calvary?
Why do you still love me sweet Unicorn when I killed you?
I hope ya'll liked it! Obviously its a poem of faith. lol!

Hey Kat! Nice poem...and congrats on being published! I think it is even sweeter that we are both going to be published in the same book! Yep...they are publishing my poem too! YAY. Anyway, if anyone is to beat me for the $1000 I hope it is you!
Glad to hear that you had an awesome beginning at SWARM. It sounds like where God wants you to be come fall time. I'm so proud of you.
Have fun cleaning the house...eek! She doesn't want anything else for her birthday? So what am I supposed to get her? You have to be my private investigator...
